Here are a few pix. The truunk is kind of high cause I used my rigid mounts to make some brackets. I plan on getting a quick release bracket that will lower the trunk. But I am waiting till I get everything painted. I still need the lower fairings before I get ever thing painted.
well it didn't turn out the exact way I wanted, or maybe it did.
I was hoping to get everything put on and painted by late December. I just got a price on the outer faring and the exhaust was going to run $700. After considering the cost of everything; on top of what Ive already spent, made me decide to trade my bike. I posted it in a couple of place and now I hope to finalize the swap in the morning for a 2003 street glide classic.
I am trading my 2005 Fatboy with 7800 mile for a 2003 electraglide with 27000 mile. I also get to keep the bags and trunk I bought for my fatboy. They guy says he doesn't care for them and uses T-bags anyway.
I bought a fatboy cause my wife said, "the touring bikes look like a police bike". So I figured I might look funny. Now I don't care how Ill look. I wanna touring bike.
