When mine got nasty I soaked them in S100 or HD wheel cleaner then rinsed them off. Take Never-dull or Mothers after that and boy did they shine, like new.
I used HD Metal Polish on the shinny part and a good soft bristle brush on the rough aluminum. The wheels not clear-coated so using metal polish will actually brighten them up the more your polish them. I just sold them on EBay anb picked up a set of PM wheels with metzler rubber - what a difference!
You might check around at some of the local custom wheel shops to see if there is anyone they use to buff and polish wheels. A local shop here has a guy named 'Alfonso' who they use and he has worked on several of my vehicle wheels now. He came out tonight and worked on my Night Train wheels, belt pulley and my disc rotors and WOW they look fantastic!!!. See the below photos:[&:]
