Although I spend a great deal of time on this site, I too find some of the post quite boring. Like, how should I wash my bike, what pipes should I buy, what oil should I use, should I pick my nose before I pick my a$$. Some things should just not be asked!!
site has deffinately slowed down. not just the amount of posts, but it is just a really slow site. the pages seem to load a lot slower. the nigt train thread used to be booming too. like some of the others have stated....there are a lot of dumb posts and threads on here. please stop allowing "i waved at him, but he didn't wave back" threads.
I think we lost a lot of people at the changeover because of some of the issues that took time to resolve. Two of my buddies haven't been on in months and they were every nighters. I think when the season is over they'll find their way back. One of them stores his bike at my garage for the winter and he's getting told to post up or pay up. Just kidding.Enjoy.
Wow, never gave it much thought! The forum is what we, as members, make it. I think it's slow sometimes and hot other times. It really depends on the topic of the posts. There are some topics that are repetitious, as stated above, however, if you're bored with reading them don't click on them. I usually only open the ones that I feel I can contribute too or ones that peak my interest. I, for one, enjoy this place and plan on staying around as long as I can.
I for one don't see much of a change... there have always been dumb questions...
For sure some of the people who left dominated the board, but I don't feel them leaving was such a bad thing...
For a group of them it was almost like their own chat room and for the most part, if your were not in the group you were either ignored... well you get the picture...
Yeah... its changed but I wouldn't say for the worse...
