i like mine. you can tell it's adding more gas because i can smell it when warming up the bike and gas mileage is down. i have the se air filter and cycle shacks slip ons.
Just to update everyone, the XiEDs were waiting in my mailbox when I got home from work today. The install took 15 or 20 minutes. I fired up the bike and took a quick trip around the block, and I didn't notice too much of a difference. Then, went on a 15 mile run and by the time I got back, the ECM must have adapted to the changes and the bike was running like a champ. It starts easier, doesn't get as hot sitting at lights, and mid-range and roll-on power is definitely better than before.
I've got a ride coming up this weekend, so I'll have a better chance to put them through their paces. I'll also get to see how gas mileage is effected. I'm hoping that it comes up a little since I'll be able to get into 6th a little sooner now. If it doesn't, I won't be too upset about it....not with the way the bike is running right now!
I wanted to let everyone know that so far the XiEDs are working like a champ. My Dad and I went on a 260 mile ride this morning, and the bike performed excellently throughout the entire trip. I checked the plugs when I got home, and they aren't showing too lean or too rich....in fact, they're really clean. The electrodes look almost identical to those of plugs that just came out of the box.
