Well just got my 16 Nash Smart Gimps mounted on My Night Train and I do not like the look. I love the bars and the Nash dudes are cool guys, but I do not think the narrow upright looks right with the NT forks. They are narrower than the forks and it looks funny to me. So they are now for sale, I will put them in a different post.
So, I am back to square one. I know I want black bars, in the 1 diameter, in the old school normal ape U bend, dimpled and drilled for internal wires. What I dont know is what brand to go with that will look right. Already done the buy it and put it on the bike and hate it route.
I have looked at Paughco, and some in custom chromes catalog part# 110058, not sure who makes these. I am also not sure if I should go 16 or drop down to 14 or 12. I am 61 tall. I think the narrow look of the Gimps turned me off to the 16 height. What would you do?

The Roland Sands Vintage bars look awesome, imo...but they may be to narrow for your taste as well. Have you tried looking at any of the Wild1's bars?
I think 16's would look better. I am 5'5" and 14"s bring my arms slightly over my shoulders, so 16"s should be good for you.
let me see a pic of your set up... i am sure we can come up withsomethinging cool... what about a old school/ new school set up... twisted apes wiht square tubing?
GNR give the guys at Hills Country Custom Cycles a call they can hook up a custom package for you with everything for cheap. They just hooked me up with 16" black bars, chrome switch housing, black switches, chrome cables for $699 shipped to Hawaii!! My Wife bought it for me for anniversary. Their customer service is top notch
I couldn't do the narrow bar thing either. I had mine made to my specs by Billy of BRCustoms. I love the bars and get compliments everywhere I go.......
