Ya, the forum for couches on 2 wheels is down the street a bit......
First thing this bike is getting is a V&H Pro Pipe. These Python3 slip-ons are way too loud! Nothin' else performace wise, though. This bike already had all the Screamin' Eagle stuff done to it when I bought it used. Unless I can come up with the $$$ for a 6 speed tranny. But, other than that, some 16" fatty apes and maybe a new paint job.
Well as i am a very impatient kinda guy i stripped my bike down in the summer to see if my HEARTLAND kit would fit (it did) so i havnt ridden since end august (big mistake).
Sheet metal is gonna be painted end of November but still cant decide on paint scheme...keep trying to come up with something original but then i find it has all been done before!!
Hope to have it all back together again by December but then will have to wait 3months for all the salt and crap they put on our roads to wash away.
Paint job ideas guys ...please please please...shall i start a new thread asking this ?
