Default Progressive Suspension on a Softtail

Is anybody out there running Progressive 422's on their Softtail? I bought a set for my Crossbones and am having a heck of a time with the rear mount bolts to get the stock ones off. Don't want to force them too much. Anybody know the trick for removing them? Thanks

Or maybe cut down a 3/4 wrench.

Stand on a long wrench with all your weight.

+1 amigo. I used a rubber mallet on my wrench to bust it loose. they're on with red loctite, so be sure and put that stuff back on em when you re-install.

Did you use a heat gun, to release the loctite grip, right before you tried to loosen them?

Used a little heat and a big hammer and got them loose. Just got done installing the new ones. Tried to keep the same ride height but I'm quite a bit higher. Guess I'll lower them tomorrow. Set them a little too stiff (used to the stockers) I'll get 'em dialed in. One thing I noticed is that when I adjusted them the ride height adjustment moved too. I had to use a 3/4" wrench for a back up. Anyone else run into this?
