So that's 1/2 to 1 inch lower than the stock XBones seat?
Indeed, same metal seat pan, stock seat has about 1 inch of padding and this one has about .25 inch of high density padding. So you sit about 3/4 of an inch lower.
The leather one is more comfy and you don't "slide" out when accelerating. Gives a firmer feel.
I also switched to 2" springs to get me lower, I'm 5' 10" and feet just barely got flat on the ground, switched seats and it got me so much lower I went back to the stock 3" springs. Must have lowered me more than 2" because even with the bigger springs I'm lower. The stock seat is pretty tall.

I agree, that stock seat is tall, i'm 5'10" as well and once i went to the the seat i have now i dropped me way down. It made such a difference that i decided not to do a lowering kit.
Did you ever get these springs? Did they lower the seat much? Do you bottom out? I've got the stock springs but I switched to the HD standard saddle.
