thats what id do, cut the baffles, little at a time until i had the sound i wanted. then again you might not get the sound you want from them. but you can always buy another set of baffles. to bad you dont have a shop near that would let you try different baffles until you found the ones you liked.
Big city thunder makes baffles for the big radius. Supposedly they give it a boost of power and a much deeper tone.
I bought a pair for my Staggered Big Shots. They made it MUCH louder, not necessarily making it sound BETTER. When I took the bike in to be tuned for them, I lost both hp and torque...about 10%. I am once again using the baffles that came with the pipes.
I've got an xtra pair of big city thunder baffles for the big radius pipes if you want 'em. they are louder than stock and deeper......I didn't lose any power, maybe picked up a touch of midrange.
