Went to see the Rocker C in Madrid today and ..........................If I bought a Springer instead would it be possible to change the front end to say a deuce or Rocker as I hate the Springer front end and love everything else about it??????
I went to see the Rocker C today and i was like gob smacked (English slang) I hated it!!!!!!!!, I have seen many Rocker C on this forum and they are really nice looking but everyone that I have seen, I can see that they have spent a lot of money and done some serious modifications to make them look the way they want them "Hay I already know that a Harley is only a starting kit" but anyway as I said at the start of the thread should I get a Springer CVO or a Rocker C and cost wise the Springer is +/- $8k more in Thailand and I can easily see that I could spend at least $10k on a Rocker to get it the way I would hopefully like it, the main issue with the Springer is the front end "I HATE IT" could I put a Deuce or even a Rocker front end on the Springer, or would I just be better off buying something else????
Below are some of the things that is a must "Remember I live in Thailand"
1/. Minimum 240 rear tire
2/. Chromed out
3/. Chopper style front end
4/. Looks like a Big Dog Mastiff (But HD)
Bla Bla bla
Sounds like your cash situation isn't a problem, I would suggest contacting a custom builder (ie OCC or BBC) and discuss the possibilities of what you would want done, with a HD base. I am sure they could assist you. As for replacing a front end on a CVO, sure it could be done, but that sounds irrational to do that to a new SE Springer. But hey to each his own.
to me.... the rocker is a deuce with a wide tire conversion on it. the only thing that makes me look the other way when it comes to the rocker is the seat. i would take a guess and say you should be able to change out the springer front end. if you were in the states i would deffinately buy that springer front end from ya.
