Default Service Intervals

Does anyone know the factory recommended service intervals? I know the first couple:

500 miles
1000 miles

What is the jump after the 1000 mile service? And so forth and so on...every 3000 miles (like a car) or every 1500 miles? Any help would be appreciated...

2004 FatBoy

Thanks

The book says every 5000 miles. Most dealers say 2500 miles. I say 3000 miles. To each their own. Just make sure your not running on cruddy oil.

You can go to the HD main website, enter your VIN and it will give you the service requirements and intervals.

I have been getting mine done every 2500 miles. Since the first three years are paid for in advance I am taking it in as much as I can...
