Default PC III accelerator pump feature

What does this upgrade do? I don't understand what it is and if I need to use it. I have a PC and map from Jamie @ FuelMoto. What benefits would I get from it?

The accelerator pump feature lets you program in an additional fuel shot when accelerate. Otherwise the Injectors will just follow the map and you may get a throttle lag.

It will also aid in acceleration ping if you are running a lean map.

You program in a percentage increase for the fuel shot, I have found anything over 10 - 15% bogs down the engine but that may just be my bike. I run about 5%. for 30 Revs and 85% sensativiity.

It is one of the more harmless things to play with on the PCIII. It only makes you run richer so you do not have to worry about running to lean and burning anything up.

I think every one should run it. It gives you that seat of the pants kick everytime you get on it.
