so, i'm thinking about getting a motorcycle lift and i came across this web site with these pics. how do you guys think this is possible?? how does the bike not tip over?
I have the J&S and it is possible. I was swapping out handlebars on my Springer while the wheels were at the powder-coaters and I would just jump on and off the bike at will to adjust bars, controls, etc. No straps, no tie-downs, no problem.
I did all the research dont bother with any thing but the j&s jack. your bike is worth the extra money check out youtube and type in craftsmans yellow jack this will give you an idea of how the cheaper jacks work
...I as well, have the J&S jack. With 40K in bikes in the garage, I wouldn't have settled for anything less. The video is true and you don't have to worry with tie-downs either. Well worth the money. No heart palpitations with it swaying on a cheap jack.
