Default need help w/heartland conversion kit....

.... put rock guards on, fit..no problem. Put struts on fender went to mount them on bike ,the fender is at least a couple inches too high. Question is do I need a lowering kit or has the company sent me the wrong struts, and if I do need to lower it is it an easy job and whats a good lowering kit...thanks. Appreciate some input.

what bike do you have? a rocker?
i think the fender is supposed to sit a little high on the bike so that there is enough room for the suspension to travel and so the wheel doesn't scrape the bottom of the fender

Default yes it a 2009 rocker c..

... everyone elses pics that they have posted after putting their conversion kit on, looks just like what heartland advertises it should look like. Mine are sitting way high off the fender...I than fine in small print on insrtuctions that they recommend having it lowered to get the full of effect of the kit. So I need to see if someone who has done this to their rocker had to lower it to get that effect.

oh yeah, i forgot about that. if you look at Heartland's pic of the rocker with the kit on their web site, you can see in small print that the bike has been lowered 2 inches.

www.progressivesuspension.com

It look like that it replaces the dampers on the rear with adjustable ones
