...I also have used Turtle Wax's Ice with great results.
Turtle Wax Ice works well but has absolutely NO cleaning agents. If you don't apply it to a perfectly clean finish you will seal the dirt in. Personally, I prefer Adam's products. They work great and you can buy large size refill jugs, so you are not constatly paying for those little 16oz bottles each time.
I've only had my cycle little over 2 months and haven't polished her yet. When I would wax my vehicles I would usually go with Meguiers but would sometimes try new things. I have great eye- sight but honestly I can't generally tell the difference from one polish to the next. As long as it looks good when I'm done then it did it's job. I usually also run my hand across the finish to make sure it feels smooth to the touch... but again, as far as looks go, I normally can't tell the difference.
So far all I've used is that Harley product for instant shine without having to wash. I've just been careful to saturate area before wiping it clean. Looks good to me and feels smooth to the touch.

LOL! That is a great looking scoot and I'm sure it smells sooo nice too! Nothing like the gentle scent of lemons while you're rolling down the highway <8^). But seriously, if it's quick and keeps the bike clean, whatever works! BTW, I use the S-100, quick detail, but the girlfriend just got the Mequiars Swirl-X and NXT 2.0 wax. Her faded 87' Corvette came out looking like glass. I'll have to try it on my bike (and the lemon pledge too).
Thanks for the compliment on the scoot.
Actually I too use Mequiars for a lasting shine.
I do use the Pledge for a quick once over if there are any water spots after hitting a quick showe once the bike blow dries.
Used it on my 06 XL1200R for around 2 years in said scenario and it always worked great. Paint and chrome was shining like new when I sold it.
It does attract bees and fruit flies however!!!

Thanks, I'll try that out after drying it the next time I get around to actually washing it sometime soon...
I use Meguires quick wax for the wax job, and most of the time after I wash my bike I'll use Meguires quick detailer. But the wax is nice cuz you can wax and wipe your bike down after washing all in one step. Then take a clean dry cloth after a few minutes and wipe it all down.
