Default Rear springer preload

The rear rockers on my 05 FLSTSCI are free truning from the nut side inside of the springer. The bolt has full thread engagement, but I have heard there is some preload on these. There is an outside threaded plug with a large allen wrench type of opening and I guess it is a bolt head on the stud underneath. Can anyone give me some guidance on setting the preload or is this free turning stud ok?

Thanks Loco

I lowered mine using the Burly nonadjustable kit in the rear and the Burly/White Bros. Kit in the front. Lowering it 1" in the rear and 1.5" in the front makes it sit nice and level. She does ride a little rough now, but whatever, it looks great!

No I had the dealer install it. They charged 1.5 hours of labor to do so.

Thanks. I found a local customs shop that's gonna do it for me...putting in an adjustable one so I can crank it back up for 2 up if necessary.
