Default Fuel Line

Anyone know the part # for the quick disconnect fuel line from the tank to throttle body on the 07 Custom?

62190-01b is the part # I got. I snapped the fitting at the throttle body moving the tank around. It was $43.65. The part comes as a complete assembely with the quick connect. It was too long for my bike so a little trim and it fit great.

Ditto here I snapped mine doing the same thing. The replacement part was different from the original. Looks like Harley revised it. They made it a little beefier with a metal fitting on the FI side of the hose. $45 bucks for plastic hose! Gotta love it

Been there, done that. Its an expensive little mistake isn't it.
Makes you miss the old rubber hose and hose clamp setup for carbs doesn't it.
I have to wonder just how many of us have snapped that plastic end piece off 'moving' the tank.

I snapped mine on mine on my 06 FXSTI. But I'm gonna blame my dealer. Last time my bike was in there whoever put my tank back on stripped the head of the tank bolt out completely and just left it. So later on I go to remove the tank I had to drill the head of the bolt off. Lets just say I was so mad that I forgot to unsnap the fuel line when I popped the tank off the bolt. The new line is a lot beefier. I think Harley redid that part three times.

I've been meaning to get back here. I didn't break mine. It's for a tool I'm making up. Actually found out the #62900-01d is for the 07 Custom, and the #62190-01b is listed for the Duece. Here's one for you. No supplier would ship this part to Canada. The ****'s at MoCo won't allow it so I'm stuck having buy at my local dealer. Actually don't mind the parts people but the service people blow.

Default Fuel line

Just replaced my fuel line on my 2003 Duece, Fuel injected
First part HD dealer sold me was 62900-01D. This is for every softtail except Duece
Correct part for the Duece is 62190-01D. Because the tank is longer on the Duece, the fuel line is a couple of inches longer.
Same hose just longer.
Part number for Duece has been upgraded to braided fuel line instead of the plastic hose that keeps breaking.

Default Fuel Line Disconnect

OK guys, I'm looking for input from you "experienced" disconnect guys. If I buy the fitting as an "accessory", couldn't I use it for a way to drain the fuel tank or provide fuel to a fellow biker?

Thanks,

Don

good idea...i'd say your right...with the correct fitting for the quick connect/disconnect at the tank you shoud be able to take gas out...for draining the tank i guess would have to lift the front to max of crossover, still there could/would be some gas in the right side of tank...i like the idea
