I have the Rush 1.75s on my 08 Heritage and I fairly happy with them. They can be a bit too loud for my taste at times. Especially when I'm wearing my full face helmet. But idling and at normal cruising they sound great.
I have noticed a deeper and better sound since I put nightrider ieds on my bike. Otherwise I'm running stock.
I could not be happier with my Khrome Werks 3" HP+ slip on mufflers. They give me exactly what I want in terms of a deep throaty sound - not too loud - and look great. They are the same size as stock mufflers and the heat shields can be used on both. Not a major issue in this discussion, but still.
I want to thank you all for the help. One more thing I wonder about after reading these posts is do I go for the Power Commander V when released for the 08, or just do a stage 1 download. I am leaning more towards the Rush with the 2" baffle hoping it is not TOO loud, and will look into Krome Werks as well. A few more weeks to go before I drop the $$ to buy.
