Question 03 Softail Standard Seat
Thinking about getting a Heritage Sundowner seat #51802-07 for my 03 Softail Standard, seat width: rider 16.5, passenger 12.5. Not sure if it will look too wide or just not right.

the passenger pad is 12.5" wide???? how wide is your fender?

btw: I have a softtail standard seat on my Fatboy that I had MCC rework and put in a pad of memory foam.

Fender is 7 1/2 inches.

Greetings,

A more comfortable alternative I did on my 2005 Softail Standard was the Mustang Daytripper seat. Still looks good, but a lot softer on the longer rides.

so, the passenger pillion will hang off the fender by about 2" per side? IMO - that would look kinda weird.

It I put Heritage Saddlebags, would it might make up the differance? Everybody tells me thats a damn good seat!

If only her *** was 12.5". The shoe is close to 12". Don't look to compare!
