Question New Chrome front end question???

I am about to purchase a new chrome front end kit, as many of you did. I have to thank Softtail Girl for the heads up on eBay. These kits were for '07 and '08 FLSTC for $135.00 delivered!

My question is "Why can't I just buy the 25mm axle kit and wheel bearings to use these sliders on my '00?" Think I want the flush axle anyways???

The caliper mounts look exact same. Both use the 41mm tubes. Anything I am over looking?

Thanks for anythimg you guys can share!

They list them on eBay. They have "Buy it Now" at $135 with free shipping. Here is their link. I have not been looking since I got mine week before last.

Default Watch out

The reason that the 2007 fat boy kit is selling for less than a 100 is that it will only fit the 2007 fatboy because of the offset on the front tyre. The 2008 wheels come with a dif. axle with and bearings, so you will need to buy those as well.

The kit is actually for a Heritage. All I did was buy a new 25mm chrome axle for $60.00 and have 25mm bearings put in my new front rim. All fits perfect with the spacers that came with the kit. So for less than $200, plus the new rims I was getting anyways, I got the complete chrome front end kit installed!
