Default What's it worth?

With the economy the way it is, I was wondering what I could get for this bike IF I have to sell it.

'02 Night Train
26K miles
some custom stuff, mostly cosmetic

Give me your opinion. Thanks!

From what I've seen around, my guess would be 11-12 thousand.

Keep it for now, or you will be GIVING IT AWAY. You also have what might be considered one of the last good bottom ends in the twin cam. 2002 was the last year to run the TIMKEN crank bearings. Just saying, i have a 04 and am very pleased.

Kelley Bluebook retail is about $11,500 in mint condition...problem is the economy is far from mint right now...and the used bike market around here is real soft right now, you'd almost have to give one away...

Bikes that are actually selling are going about half way between KBB trade and retail.
Trade on your bike is $8,500 and retail is $11,500. So realistically, top dollar is about $10,000. But if you have to sell and don't have time to wait, more likely $8,000-9,000. Seen many sell in this range, those that are higher don't sell.

WORST TIME IN HISTORY TO SELL, BEST TIME TO BUY!

Buddy tried to sell his 1994 Custom FXSTC with over $30,000 invested last week and it was only bid up to $5,600.

Prices are crazy low right now, definately a buyers market, keep it for a while if you don't need the cash right away.

Wait till spring. That should help bring a better price.

If you can I would wait till spring to sell the bike. Like others have said now's the time to buy not sell.
