Default Side mount plate problem

I have a 2006 deuce and I am looking for a horizontal side mount plate with no break light that attaches to the peg. I seen in the j&p cycles book they make one that bolts right on to the peg but for some reason they are saying it only fits the years up until 99. I dont know why it wouldnt fit the newer bike though. does anyone know y or know of a nice plate mount i could get?

J&P has a no questions asked return policy, buy it and if it won't fit return it.

I've bought many parts that were for 99 and older models for my 01 standard and 04 Fatty. Sometimes you might have to tweak them a little, but the parts should fit. Just use common sense. The bracket you're referring to simply bolts to a peg that should be the same size on all years. Go for it and if it doesn't fit return it.
