I have a black 01 Fat Boy and a Badlander came with it. On long hauls it is too hard. I have the stock seat as well but love the low look. Must my *** sacrifice or does anyone out there have a comfortable low profile seat?

I love my Corbin Gun Fighter. It took a week or so to break it in but now I don't like to ride without it. I like it better than the stock pillow seat for comfort.
Went through the exact same scenario. Started with a Badlander, went to stock, tried a Sundowner (butt ugly) and finally settled on a leather Rallyrunner. This seat is the best of both worlds - keeps you low (maybe a shade lower than the Badlander), comfortable, and the passanger can live with it. These are sold through HD in thier Custom seat selections.
I don't have one, but I know lots of Sportster riders who like the low profile look swear by the LePera's with gel packs (inserts). It got bad enough on my bike when riding long distances that I switched to a sundowner when out on weekend trips.
I bought a great Mustang seat from a member here at HDF..
Has the back-rest for the rider - it rocks!
I love this seat - one of my favorite mods to date! No current pics of my bike with this seat....
my advice make sure the seat fits properly on the fender, don't want any mistakes, or anything to happen to the paint. see my question posted on night train seat problem , to see what i went through!
