Default Storing bike on sears jack?

Does anybody use the red sears jack to store their bike on over the winter months?

Its easy enough to take off when weather agrees and its nice to get tires off ground and relieve suspension if bike sits a while...sort of a cheap jack...but feels sturdy with latch down.

Any feed back is appreciated

I keep mine up all winter on a pretty inexpensive lift. No problems. http://www.autozone.com/selectedZip,.../selectZip.htm

Just be sure that you let the pressure off the jack or you will blow the seal

I agree! I use my yellow Craftsman to store mine on all year round when not in use and I let it down until the lock clicks then i'm set!

It belongs on the ground!!! My dads sears lift crapped out and his bike hit the floor. Dont trust them. Good enough for doing work for awhile on them.

I use the yellow Sears one to lift it up, then set it down on a $40 stand I picked up and Harbor Freight. The stand looks a lot like this one, but I want to say it had a 1000lb capacity.
