So Im standing in J&P Cycle this weekend.... getting sicker by the minute.... why? THEIR CLEARANCE PRICES ARE STILL TWICE AS HIGH AS THEY SHOULD BE!
100+ bucks for a run/turn/brake doohicky and on "clearance, no returns" prices its still 70? Just doesnt seem like there is 20 bucks in parts underneath that foreboding shrink tubing.
So here is the offer....
I will BUY one of these GD things, if someone will convince me they can rip into it, reverse engineer it, and we can post a "How to build a doohicky" thing here.
I am electronics stupid so Im out.... but someone will need to be able to reverse engineer it, source the parts, put together a shopping list, a schematic, and how to.
If it turns out I am wrong and this thing is a friggin marvel of modern engineering, requires a masters degreee in electronics, and the parts are all coated with palladium... fine... whatever... we tried.
However... I sincerely doubt any of the above applies.
Probably 2 diodes and a resistor to drop the voltage a bit for the tail light. Maybe 20.00 in parts at Radio Shack. DC voltage isn't hard to figure out. Hay, just think about the profit on a air filter or a HID head light bulb.
bad cop no donut here
