OK, I knew once I started back over my list I would find something that I have forgotten about.
I am thinking I need to lower the front about two inches or so??? I am coming up with that from what most of you guys have done with your rides(lower one inch). And I am changing the front tire from a 16" to a 21", and there is a little over one inch difference. So this should put me just about the same as most of your bikes hieght???
Do what my wife always tells me ," leave that damn bike alone, its fine the way it is". In this case even i agree , your bike looks great the way it is. Your call.
American Iron has a good article on lowering a bike, the pros and cons. I am going to lower mine an inch in the ft and one and a half or so in the rear. Love the look and will have to wait till spring to find out how it handles.
I raised the front by getting a larger tire and it changes the way the bike handles. I am changing the tire the other way and see how that works. it will be about 3in shorter tire. same rim. I could even go lower with 60 series tire
