I ordered a set of progressive 412's @ 11" to lower the rear....what's everyone useing to lower the front...i've found lots of stuff but nothing for the 06-07 bobs...
part numbers would be highly appreciated....
what's the downside of just ordering the Harley 180 tire by itself and not getting the kit, what am i missing...is the kit necessary since the bike will be lowered ??
i hear you will be fine with just the tire no need for the kit .. as far as lowering the front i have seen people just slide the tubes up in the trees. not the right thing to do but will work in a pinch

I'm curious why you say it is not the right thing to do NEONN.

I have a new AVON 180/55 ZR 17 I hope it will work? It was the only 180 I could find. Could not find A GT501 180/60 B17 Anywere. I heard Dunlap was on strike or something?
Dunlop is the only brand that makes a 180 tire for the 17 X 4.5 inch rear rim on the Dynas... MOREOVER, it's only available through Harley Davidson... You can't even get it through Dunlop, and no other brand of tire makes that size
It's not a wise move... although it is probably safe (the bead is compromised in its construction to fit the Dyna rim) you WILL be in a pinch (no pun intended) to find that tire if you should happen upon a flat, as it is EXCLUSIVE to harley davidson
and if you DO find yourself in a pinch where THAT particular 180 goes flat, and you happen upon an indy shop... 9 out of 10 won't go near that dyna rim with any other 180 tire!
stick with the 160, or buy an 18 X 5.5 rear rim and mod the rear end out, accordingly
