So I got a paint job done through Harley but rather than take your tank and fenders they just order the parts already painted and you keep your old ones. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to what I should do with them? I'm leaning towards making money off 'em but I don't know the best way of going about doing that.

Ebay or Craiglist. Its really hard to get the full value, but crossbones parts are really selling well right now....!!!! Or post what you would like for them in the classifieds on hdforums. Anyway we look at it, we are all looking for good deal!! Bolts, seats, leathers, boots, gas tanks, fenders..etc.......
The funny part about all this,, is we all have a box of parts somewhere..... I can hear the wife yelling!!!! what you want a what???? Damit, you have enough stuff in the basement to build another godam bike.........ha, ha, ha.
Goodluck

I'm actually looking for a rear fender that will fit on my 08 Bones. I am looking to do a Bobbed fender, and instead of paying a ridiculous amount of money for one I can chop one myself and powder coat it. I sent you a PM already
