Amsoil 20w-50 in all 3 holes, runs cooler in the summer and i don't have any noise from the 5th gear.

I am sure you know this, but be sure you use the motorcycle oil and not regular auto oil. There is a big difference in the formulation for our twin engines!

Peace!

I did use the 20W-50 specifically for motorcycles, and yes I was refering to more time due to the three different lube changes on the harley. It was time for the oil and I figured since I was changing to Amsoil, why not get familar with the primary and the trans. while I was at it. I know the trans and primary can go longer between changes but it cant hurt to change them every time I change the motor oil, I know it may be a bit more expensive but to me its worth it for my own peice of mind. I have an Amsoil dealer here that is selling me the stuff for 9.00 a quart, not bad compared to the 11 dollars and some change for the syn3 the stealership sells. Some may say that I am over doing it, but I have 19000.00 invested in this bike and Im very picky when it comes to my vehicles, I bet there are others out there that do the same thing.

Try paying $16.00 a Quart for AMSOIL 20-50 up here in the NORTH. I bet that would make you wanna CRY.
