Gap between fender / seat on Rocker
Regarding the Heartland and stock shocks, as i read from old posts, bike must be lowered otherwise it looks very strange.
that is my bike you see on youtube and it is by far the best mod that i have done as far as ride goes. it rides better than it did the day i bought the bike, i had it lowered with shock bolts before and it was very very stiff, a friend of mine has the progressive shocks on his and now he is getting the arnott system after riding mine. i am not sure how the heartland system works, i would check with heartland before i bought the air ride to see if it will work with their kit.
As i understand it can be stopped anytime and driven in any position between min-max or there are some fixed riding positions?

masar, you can ride with it in any position, all the way up, or all the way down, or any where in between, i have played with it alot and have had no problems. i really dont know exactly how much it lowers it, thats one thing i failed to do was measure the height before i installed it, i need to measure a stcok bike and then measure mine to see.
if you call arnott ask for corey and he can tell you what you need to know, i reasearched air rides for 2 months before buying and they are the only ones that had one for the rocker and had actually installed one. i dont think you can lower it much more than 2" any way because it will hit the factory bump stops. i will measure the gap between seat and fender all the way up and then measure the gap all the way down and get back to you.
any way i can help just let me know
the hartland kit is cool but you kindof take away it from being a rocker & make it a fat tire duce.
there is rumors about HD having the same mod as hartland without changing the fender for 2010.
as far as progressives go they ride stiff.

I already contacted Arnott to give me shipping rate to CZ + additional info. I am realy very interested in this. I see it from this point - you can adjust any riding height you want in few seconds to make ride comfortable and not stiff + you can slam it down in second while parking to make the bike great looking. Both advantages in one package.
Propably using standard Rocker seat + Arnott all way down = no gap at all. Guys, how much is standard Rocker seat? I would still prefer to use original C seat, i am realy interested to see some pictures of Robo´s bike after he did his mod described above with removal of 2nd seat - as i understand this would help (but still dont know how) to get more down so propably something like standard Rocker seat ?!
I will also check arlen ness kit.
