Gap between fender / seat on Rocker

I already contacted Arnott to give me shipping rate to CZ + additional info. I am realy very interested in this. New pictures would look exactly the same as the old. The only difference is (and you can't see it unless you have the seat lifted) that the second seat doesn't have a home in the rider seat anymore.

The ride, however IS drastically changed. It's comfortable. I didn't even try to use any special kind of Gel inserts or anything. I imagine you could use one of those inserts and really change the comfort level.

Guys, i contacted Arnott to ask some questions about the air system. Below is answer for question, how much is possible to lower the bike.

Hi,
The bike can be riden anywhere in between min-max with obivous ride differences. The bike will only go as low as the factory bumpstop at the top of the frame and swingarm.

Now sorry for propably stupid question - please note i am new in HD world and still waiting for my Rocker delivery (hopefully next week). What does this mean for Rocker? It means i can theoretically lower the bike to sit on rear fender? Where is the limit? Does it mean i can go even lower than 2" (which is max for Progressive 422...) ?

On another Softail you can lower the bike to 'almost' have the fender sit on the tire, the frame mounted bump stop will, or is supposed to prevent that.
But the Rocker is a little different in that the fender is not mounted to the frame mounted struts, but the swing arm itself. So it follows the tire's movements all the time and never changes its orientation or distance from it.
Any lowering, or raising for that matter, is not going to be as visually obvious as it will be for any of the other Softail models.

Essentially your right, though I don't think you could get it to where the seat will actually sit on the fender. And I doubt that would be a very good idea anyway. Having the bike sit that low might look nice sitting in a lot at a cruse night.
But actually riding it that way would not be a lot of fun unless you like pounding your butt and lower back to death. Or you enjoy the thrill of having the bike's rear end trying to beat you around a turn every time you hit a little bump.

You totally right about the comfort. For this case i want air system. My way of thinking is that using Airnott while parking (thats only way how to enjoy shape of the bike anyway...) i will put it down as possible even to sit on fender to make it look well. But for ride i would lift it up as much as neccessary to feel comfortable. What do you think?

Sounds good to me. I always thought that was one of the best reasons for getting any kind of air ride system. Just wish I could afford one for my bike.

Regarding the Heartland and stock shocks, as i read from old posts, bike must be lowered otherwise it looks very strange.

Hey guys...I have my rocker getting the heartland conversion done as we speak. You don't have to buy new shocks to lower it. HD offers a lowering kit that will lower the bike two inches, and it looks great with the Heartland Conversion. I'll post some pics when its complete.
