Default Wide tire conversion

I have a 99 FXST and I am running a 130-16 on the rear on a stock spoke rim. I hate the size of the rear tire and have been looking at wide tire kits (I gotta have one) but they are all so ridiculous in price. I can buy a kit from Harley for 500 plus installation that will get me a 150 on the back. It would make a difference, but I want a little more plus that kit is high priced as well. I saw something on ebay the other day and was looking for some advise on it. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

It says that I can put this on and fit a 160 on the rear on a stock swingarm. I can put this kit on myself, is it worth it? I asked the local Harley shop and their only complaint is that offsetting the primary would make the bike, at low speed, tend to drift to the left is this true. Has any one else used this set up? I will attach a picture of my bike so you can see that a 130 does not do my bike justice. I am also planning on lowering the bike 1.5 inches next weekend. I am sure that will help it out some.

Thanks for any input!!!

Is it possible to put an 06' swing-arm on that thing? I've got to agree, the 200 looks great.

That thing looks like a dirt bike! I use the stock 130 tire on my bike but it is lowered 2 inches. When I learn to post pix I will. What is the benefit of a wider than 130 tire? I don't really like the wide tire look.

I have a 150 on my kike now. going to a 160 when it wears out.
All i did was change to a 1 1/4" belt and use jam nuts on the inside strut bolts
and cut them flush. Went with a shorty belt guard. BTW a 160 needs a wider rim.
