Default Going Hi-Lo -thoughts?

I know there has been alot of discussion about air ride set-ups recently. I think I am ready to pull the trigger. I have been going back and forth between the Hi-Lo and the SAS. Given that the Hi-Lo is about half the price (still on sale for $799 - I spoke with them today) versus the $1,500 for the SAS. In addition, lifetime warranty on the system with 2 years on the compressor, it made it a bit more appealing. Is there anyone out there who can give me a good reason why I shouldn't go with the Hi-Lo? I appreciate any input that you have.

anubisss - thanks for the input. FYI I called there this morning to leave a message thinking that he would call me back Monday. He actually called me back this afternoon (Sunday). Said he was there doing some clean-up. Gotta like that!

Which others have you looked at? I think there is a pic of a deuce on HI LO's website. Give you a nice idea. Wish they had a pic of mine but oh well. Good luck with your choice. There are alot out there.

I am thinking that for half the price the HiLo has gotta be the one to go for.

My only advice would be not to get the remote. I got it and it was great for the first week or so, playing in the drive way. I never really use it anymore. Just trying to save you some dough!! My remote broke once and I killed the bike battery by playing with the system when the bike wasnt' running, replaced it with a gel one (old one wouldn't hold a charge) Other than that mine has been perfect. Aaron is a great guy.

Takes about 20 seconds or so to air up but drops in a flash. Ride wise it's great, I count the seconds I air it up so I get the ride right where I want it. It's a different feel than conventional shocks when you ride over railroad tracks and such. Not bad different just different : )

Buddy is installing an Arnott system right now. It suggests that you use a pressure gauge to get the right settings time after time.

Anyone here using a pressure gauge with any of their Hi-Lo systems? Think you really need it?
