I didn't think it would be as comfortable but i sat on one when I was bike shopping. A dealership happened to have a Bones with that seat and it felt much better. It was a better fit contour wise. Now I will be the first to admit that I don't know Jack or **** about bikes, but I don't see lack of padding to be an issue since it is a softail and it is a springer seat.
