Softtail Guys

My buddy has an '86 FXSTC and it needs some new shocks. He can't afford air-ride, so what would be the best shocks for mostly 2 up riding?

Especially on stuff for older bikes. I don't know much about the different brands or how they ride, but I jsut did an eby search and they all seem to go for about $100 a pair.

Hmmm, never thought of looking there for that kind of thing.

Are the stock rear shocks even worth anything? I replaced my stockers with the progressive 413's, stock ones are layin on the shelf in my garage if he can use em.
