I have a 2006 Night Train and I am thinking about taking the plunge and buying the EZ 200 conversion kit. I'm also going to purchase the tail lights to put on the rear fender. For the guys with the kit what size tail lights did you buy? The small or large ones?
Also if you have the kit installed could you post a pic, I want to see some bikes with it installed.
I'm in the middle of doing the 180 kit on my 05 night train. I'm just waiting on the turn signals. I got the small wrinkle black bullet LEDs from Heartland. My stop light is a cat's eye on my side mount plate. I'll be starting a thread with pics and step by step on the whole project once I finish the mock up with the lights. Hopefully in the coming week. If you want to see pics check out the night train pics section both locked and current. Lot of heartland kits there.
I did the Heartland conversion on my Rocker C. It's really a personal choice, but I have the Heartland large chrome tail-lights and that size is just right for me. They are called large, but they really don't look that way on the bike. The lights do triple duty and I wanted a little more visibility (hence the large ones) as well. Either way, the Heartland conversion and tail-lights are a quality product that I'm sure you will be pleased with.
I have the two-five-oh kit and went with Kuryakyn mini bullet tail lights and did a HD run brake turn module. I did get their mounts that bolt to struts on inside and hang down.
are you talking about the turn signals?? if so i got the large ones (about the same size as H-D standard ones..... Heartland catalogue/website not very clear on this ...dont forget to ask for the rear brackets as well
I have a 06 Night Train, started with the 200ez kit than decided to go with the 250 kit. Comparing the kits, the 250 is well worth the money. Get their large signals for the rear and the small for the front. They are very bright. You have the opions of black or chrome. Good Stuff...
I put the heartland rocker conversion on mine and went with the larger size lights for the rear...their next size was pretty small...so i put the large ones on back for more visibilty and the small ones on front...the pic only shows the larger ones on back as at the time of the pic i only had the rear ones on...heartlands selection for lights are minimal so you don't have a big choice but they do have good quality products
