Let's Talk Floorboard Extensions
I currently have Bubba's Floorboard Extension kit on my 07 FatBoy. The kit came with floorboards that move the stock position forward about 2". It also came with extended brake and shift lever. For my 6'5" frame it stretches my legs somewhat but I'm curious if there is a better option out there. Not into crash bars and not feelin' the Kury Cruise Arms. I know that I don't want the floorboards positioned out any wider than they are now, which looks like what the Harley Goodies kit does. Switching over to forward controls is not out of the question however my wallet may disagree. Is there a kit that moves the floorboards forward more than 2" without changing the linkage? Thoughts?

Sounds like you have the ones you need. I haven't seen anything that would allow more
than 2" forward. I have HarleyGoodies extensions that move them out from the bike
1 1/4" each side but that wouldn't help you at all... and like I said, I haven't seen anything
that allows you to move the boards up more than you already have. And, you said you
already moved your controls forward too... so I don't know what else you could do?

You have a couple of options to extend the floorboards forward. Since you already have the Bubba's kit, you will probably be a Cycle visions kit http://www.cyclevisions.com/cv-acces...rd-extensions/
It will move your boards, controls and kick stand forward 2". It comes with a 2" longer shifter linkage, but if you have an after market linkage you want to use you can get a 2" shifter linkage extention that they sell. http://www.cyclevisions.com/chrome/s...tension-cv307/
Another option is to get the HD extended rider floorboard pans. I'm not sure that this will work with the Bubba's kit though.
