Default Fatboy Backrest Question

I have an 06 Fatboy, and I want to get a passenger backrest, but the only one that I have seen is the detachable model. I don't really like this model, because I need to change the stock posts on the tail lights. Does anybody know where I can find a fixed mount rest without the hassle of changing the light posts?

Thanks,

Scott

I used the non-detachable sideplates on mine and am able to use my stock airfoiled shape turn signal posts.
Besides, if I want to ditch the sissy bar for a while, it is only 4 bolts.......

I, too, did not want to have to change my turn signal posts in order to use a detachable sissy bar.

It is possible to use a dremmel tool and cut out where you need to on the original post if you want. Then you don't have to mess with the rear turn signal re-location, but you can still have the detachable.

This one on mine is right from the Harley dealer where I bought the bike. I like it OK.

Mine came from e-bay.
I just grinded of a bit of the back ends on the mounts as an alternitave to relocating the tail lights... All I had to do was take off about 1/8 of an inch - no problem.
