I used Boss Bags (liked Leather Works also) the quality is very good. I used Easy Brackets to mount them because I didn't want to have to open the bags to install or remove them. I got the 42's and the large trunk, we went for over five weeks and had enough room all we needed. They sit out farther than they would with the stock brackets. I'm ok with that, but lots of guys want the bags clocer to the bike. My son's fiance has a set of Boss Bags with there brackets , they are a nice bracket.

110x bags from leatherworks, $675 with easybrackets and locking lids won me over

For me, the HD bags had the best look. Unfortunately, I bought them when I bought the bike and they had to be ordered. When they came in, they had huge cutouts (apparently to clear any possible condition at the axle) but the back of the bag was faked in so that you couldn't see that. So, they don't hold diddly squat compared to how big they look. Still, I haven't seen anything that looks any better and the easy brackets simply stick out too far from the bike.

You can see mine in front of the aircraft carrier in my photo album.

Look at Auburn leather bags. They have a website. But don't sell direct. Any dealer or indie shop should be able to get ya some. I used only their bags for years. They are very well made.

Iron Bags here, they are hands down the best I've seen.

I went to the link you provided to Osprey and didn't see any like yours. I like the looks of your bags. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Danny D

I bought a set of factory harley bags off of someone on another forum. I was looking and searched ebay for factory saddlebags and there are several sets off heritage models. Mine aren't detachable though. My bags were never detachable it makes it fatter lol and i feel naked without them on.

I went with the LeatherPros for my 08 Fat Boy. Easy on / easy off, they lock on and you can lock them closed. Great quality, a few options, and a great choice if you are keeping the stock exhaust configuration.
