Default Rear turn signals converted

Just converted the rear amber turn signals to red and now the turn signals also lite up as brake lights. What a differance it makes on my 05 deluxe! A buddy of mine looked at my bike and told me to do this because ( In his opinion), rear ambers look like a jap bike. I really did'nt think so but I thought I would try it and see how it looked. I'm glad I did.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I'm interested in this for my Heritage as well. What did it cost? Did you use an HD or aftermarket part?

Thanks!!!

I just bought red lenses and did the wiring myself useing diodes and imagination,I didnt spend more than 25.00, I ended up with the same results but since I enjoy designing electrical circuits I just did it.

Personally I dont think you can have too much light in the rear.

I bought the kit at harley. It cost me about 45 dollars. Easy to hook up. Just pop out the old lenses install new ones, and plug the relay into the harness under the seat.
