I wanted to do the chrome one but figured it wouldn't look to good after riding for a while . So I ground the sides off my plastic one.

Quick thought - would that template change between years and tires? MY standard has a 200 rear. Any thoughts before I cut it?

I did this on an 09 Fatboy the template is different. The HD catalog shows the template above is good for 2000-07 and the other is for 08-??

My new air ride comes with one of these. The electrics for it are on the inside of the plate. I'll get some pics up later. I swore I would never put a chrome splash guard too. Looks good.

Does anybody happen to know the H-D P/N for the chrome rear fender extension to fit a '05 FXST?

(It's kind of tough to search catalogs with my phone or I'd do it myself... Sorry.)
