I've got the nostalgic HD detachable windshield on mine also. Works great.

I've got the detachable compact on my Springer. It cost about $300, plus the detachable mounting hardware. On the compact version, you look through the windshield, not over it. Offers great wind protection on my midsection, but still get some wind around the helmet area. I love the detachable feature, but rarely take it off. I love riding with the windshield on, really makes the ride much more enjoyable. I just bought a windshield bag this weekend and love it. Great storage area for cell phones, ciggies, insurance card, etc.

What ever you go with, make sure it's detachable. I'm running an HD king size shield. Love it on the highway, and it comes off in seconds for cruzing around town.

Just a plain old standard HD detachable windshield. I want people looking at my bike, not the windshield!

I put on the HD King-size detachable. Love it. Very easy to install, and very easy to put on and take off. I also installed the chrome wind deflectors to reduce the head buffeting.
