I was changing my kickstand out today to a shorter one and when I went to loosen the bolt it was almost out , only a couple of turns by hand to remove it. If I had not been changing the kicksatnd it would have fallen off and the kickstand would have folded forward.

Lesson learned , check your kickstand bolt !!!

I realize this is an old thread but this very thing happened to me recently. I bought the stop (arrived today); however, I do not have the stop bolt, washer, or lock washer. Can someone help me find the correct bolt for my 93 Fatty?
