Out for a nice ride with the family tonight, we stop to eat and it happened. My 1995 Softail kickstand flips all the way forward! My cousin runs over and helps me get the bike off of me. I lost the Leg Stop, Washers and Bolt from the kickstand! Has this ever happened to you?
Bikes OK other than missing parts. Scared the $#@@ out of me when bike rolled forward! I need to pay more attention to every nut and bolt on service checks. Thanks Alain. It's a great bike. I will post some pics soon. Take care.
Sorry to hear that and glad you are ok, yes nut and bolt the bike often. When cleaning look and touch everything and most times you will find loose bolts. Loctite, good stuff
man that sucks. sorry to hear about that. i did have that happen once, but it was mostly my fault. i picked up some chick at the local watering hole. something in the back of my mind told me not to do it. it wasnt anything that she actually did, it was mostly her 400 pounds that did it. now on, no beer and no fat chicks on the scoot.

Was It A Rocker ???? This Is How To Lower A Rocker Ha Ha Ha
Hey everyone, just a note on the parts needed. Only $15.00 for the Leg stop, washers and bolt at the dealer. Put some red Loc-Tite on the bolt and gave it 19lbs. Works great now. I know that I will be checking every nut and bolt on my ride each month. I am happy that the parts did not end up in my rear tire. Thanks for all the responses. Here is a pic of my ride. Take care!
