softail standard tail light options

If I had your year bike I would go for the one you found on evil-bay. Even if it does need a little wiring work its a lot better looking than the alternatives.
The wider rear tire on newer bikes is really nice, but the wider fender that goes along with it does limit your options for tail lights that fill the empty space. I think there are only two options for mine, the Tribar and the Joker machine and you've seen the price of the Joker, OUCH!!!

Now it won't fit your bike, but I decided to check out the maker and found that they DO make a version that fits your bike as well as others, either bulb or LED.

Look under tailights, pages 1065, 1066 and I think you might find what your looking for.
