5.5"rim on a 2000 nighttrain
can i use a 5.5"rim on my 2000 nighttrain with the stock swing- arm, brake,and pully?I know the fender will need to be changed
I see a kit on line for a 180 tire that only comes with a rim,tire fender and struts.Does this sound right?axel spacers will be the easy part if this will work thanks

The wheel will fit with everything stock. I had a 16x5.5" on my '02 Train, but it had a 150 Avon Venom stretched onto it. Everything was completely stock- fender, struts, brake, pulley, etc. There was only about 1/8" clearance at the drive belt/tire, but close is fine. I had no rubbing. With a wider tire, you may need a narrower belt, etc.
