Default Passenger Right Footpeg Question

Hey, Guys, as you can see from the photo, my stealer has my right rear footpeg set up to close between the exhaust pipes. This position gives my passenger mega problems keeping it in place. I want to rotate it back 90 degrees so it will operate once again up and down. Should I tighten it in about 90 degrees or should I loosen it out about 270 degrees to get it back to factory position? Any help will be appreciated. thanks.

Default RE: Passenger Right Footpeg Question

The main concern is will it fold up or fold back in a tight corner. You may never lean that much but you want it to fold up in that situation otherwise the bike may get snatched out from under you. Also, handy if you hit a parking block, planter box or some other obstruction. I have mine angled back about 35 to 45 degrees from vertical per the instructions that came with my saddlebag relocation kit.
