OOPS!!!
Another "forgot to disconnect the line before lifting the tank" problem.
Not to worry, I think its happened to a lot of guys, myself included.

The PN for all Softails (ex Deuce, everything is ex Deuce) is 62900-01B
For a Deuce its 62190-01B

The letters on the end may be different when you order one, but that's just the mfg update level and has nothing to do with it fitting properly.

They run just under $50, so hopefully this is not a mistake your going to make more than once.

And get a parts manual to go with your Service Manual, they are invaluable if for no other reason than the exploded pics give you a better idea of the relationship of the parts to each other.

Good Luck and ride safe.

Don't worry about it, like I said, your not the first to do it and odds are that you're not going to be the last.
But if you do it again, we change your screen name to "dummy".

Did the same thing, but just purchased some pressure gas line from local auto supplier and it has worked great. Only a couple of $'s.

I wish I could have done that when I did it to mine.
I broke the last 1/2" off of the fitting that goes into the fuel rail or manifold behind the injectors.
If I had broken it in the middle somewhere I could have fixed it, got plenty of hi pressure line around here. But there's no way, that I am aware of to fix or replace the plastic fitting on the end.

I still have the old broken piece. Figure it might come in handy any time I have to take the tank off. I can install it with some extra line into a gas can. Then all I have to do is turn the bike on and let the fuel pump dump most of the gas for me.

dito on breaking it. they should but a sticker that says remove fuel line before lifting tank instead of that stupid one they put on the air breather. Mine has the part number on a sticker on the hose as the dealer sold me the wrong one that was 4in too long.
