Anything that looks cool probably won't be good for anything but looking at your shoulders, especially with the narrow stock bars that come on your train. That being said, I would go with something anodized black, like PM's contour mirrors. Check em out at Performancemachine.com.
Not liking looking at my elbows, I put CRG bar-end mirrors on my '02 NT. These are billet convex mirrors that are usually installed on Ducatis and such. They really give the NT a different appearance! They're also very effective, and even fold for lane sharing (some things about CA are still good!). You can kinda see the mirrors in this pic.
Hey JBT
I like what you did with the rear turn signals. Who's are they? I'm guessing you had them powder coated?
I have mirrors that normally go on a street-rod.

Aah, those 'turn signals' were crap! [:'(] They were actually marker lights that the previous owner installed as signals. They looked OK, but weren't visible from more than about 10 feet away! I bought stockers and put them on, with smoked lenses all around, along with a Kuryakyn (sp?) smoked LED tail light. Looks much better, IMHO.
