Has anyone took off their wheels yet on a Rocker. I am going to get mine powder coated and the painter told me the bearings and races need to be removed. Is this an easy task to remove the bearings? Any advice would be great, i have never removed a motorcycle wheel.
I have a rocker but have done nothing as of yet to the wheels...you can go to the members list punch in 'alain' and send him a private message he knows quite a bit about the rocker wheels...i'm sure that he will eventually see your post and answer you if you don't feel like sending him a PM
I haven't really messed with the bearings that much but i do know that they are inside the hubs. the hubs are attached to the wheel with (i think it's) 5 screws, just unscrew them and they come right off the wheel.
the bearings should be easy to remove from the hubs, it might take you a little while you but you should be able to use a little force and push the bearings out of the hubs.
